Reflexology is not really ‘massage’, although it is often categorized as such. It works with the principle that there are reflexes in the feet that correspond to the organs and systems of the body. Through gentle stimulation of these reflex points the body is able to naturally ‘heal’ itself. Reflexology is based on eastern tradition and energy systems of the body. When one part of the body is balanced it assist other parts to work more efficiently. This treatment is beneficial for many conditions such as insomnia, stress, hormone imbalance and digestive disorders to name only a few.
